Privacy

What the site collects and what the app touches.

Two short sections. The first is this marketing site. The second is the Proofing House app, once you install it in Shopify.

This site

This marketing site sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics. No advertising pixel runs here. No third-party script follows you. We do not need a cookie banner because we are not tracking you. The pages are static files served over HTTPS.

The app

These terms describe the Proofing House app once you install it. They are separate from this site.

The app reads your products and your store content. Your themes it reads too, so it can place the GPSR information block. Metaobjects and theme-extension settings are the only things it writes. The app asks for no customer scope and no order scope, so it never sees who your buyers are.

The green-claims audit and the DPP extraction send the relevant product copy to Anthropic, the model provider. Each call is logged with an audit row. No customer or order data is sent, because the app never holds any.

Application data is stored in Postgres in London, on Neon in the AWS eu-west-2 region. The model call to Anthropic is processed under standard data-protection terms.

When you uninstall, your shop's sessions and app data are removed. The passport data stored in your shop's metaobjects stays in your store, because it is your data.

Questions about privacy go to hello@proofinghouse.com. Proofing House is operated by RSE Labs Ltd in the United Kingdom.
